Sandwell Valley Country Park.

We visited Sandwell Valley Country Park to explore the area and to see the type of facilities they have on offer. We all piled into the minibus on a fresh, sunny Thursday morning armed with bread for the ducks, a flask of hot chocolate and a large bag of marshmallows. The journey lasted about 15 minutes. (You can catch the number 54 bus from Faraday Avenue and it drops you just outside the park, this takes a little longer.)
First stop, a walk up to the lake to feed the ducks , geese and swans. We were very popular with the wildlife.

Then off to the park.

“Come on slow coach, catch me if you can!”

This week Israel put us through our paces teaching us the skills needed to use a bow and arrow. We were very competitive and rose to the challenges set.

Next Wednesday…Circuit Training!
