Kim Wright supported our coffee morning to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Charity by donating a delicious homemade chocolate concrete. She joined us for coffee and bought cakes to take home for her family. However, this was just the beginning. Kim had decided to “Brave the Shave.”
On Friday 14th October Kim went to ‘Mr Stopps’ with a full head of hair. She sat herself in the hairdressers chair and Donna took a pair of hair trimmers and set to work giving Kim a number 3 all over. Drastic!
Kim raised over £625 for Macmillan Nurses. Well done Kim.
We enjoyed a lovely walk in the autumn sunshine.
One beautiful September morning we decided to go for a walk around Woodgate Valley to pick blackberries.
Mrs Mutter said she would like to have a go at making jam. She worked her magic and turned the blackberries into the most delicious jam which, incidentally, will be on sale on Friday morning during our Macmillan coffee morning.
We are holding a coffee morning on Friday 7th October between 9 and 10:30 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We will also be selling cakes on Thursday and Friday after school.
This morning we made chocolate cornflake and rice crispie cakes ready for the sale.
